Lucky Escape: Woman and Two Children Survive Terrifying Ajah Accident

A woman and her two children narrowly escaped a fatal accident in Ajah, Lagos, last Thursday. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) reported that they successfully rescued the mother, children, and the driver of the Sienna bus they were in.

The accident involved a Fiat Pick-up company van and the Sienna bus and took place around 7:30 am at Salau Junction on the Lekki-Ajah Expressway. Preliminary findings suggest that speeding led to the loss of control, causing the accident.

The husband of the woman promptly rushed all four victims to a nearby hospital. Subsequently, the damaged vehicles were handed over to the Ilasan Police Station by Jakande along the Lekki-Ajah Expressway, according to LASTMA’s spokesperson, Adebayo Taofiq.
